What should we make of the Boston Celtics season so far? A rough start, a decent recovery, soon followed by some backsliding on the heels of some important players sitting out with injuries. Bench players get inconsistent minutes and come out cold when their number is called, all while the team dials up the intensity on the defensive end of the court.
There’s plenty of things to be positive about with this iteration of the Celtics given they have a lot of new players and new members of the coaching staff, but plenty of inconsistency to get irked about as well.
What conclusions can we draw about Boston this early in the season, with the team just past a tenth of the way through the 2021-22 NBA season?
