Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade bagged four goals in Atletico Madrid’s 5-0 home win against Huelva in the Spanish women’s topflight on Saturday.
Heading into the game which was Ajibade’s fourth league appearance she had not gotten on the score sheet.
Ajibade opened the scoring for Atletico in 27 minutes and doubled their lead in the 51st minute. Ludmila made it 3-0 on 70 minutes before Ajibade got her hat trick with two minutes left in the encounter.
And in the 91st minute, Ajibade got her fourth goal and her side’s fifth to complete the rout.
The win took Atletico to third place on nine points in the league standings.
And in another league game, Asisat Oshoala was subbed on in the 61st minute as champions Barcelona beat Athletic Club 3-0 to move to the top.

Super Eagles striker, Terem Moffi lasted just 25 minutes as Lorient played out a goalless draw against Reims in Saturday’s Ligue 1 clash.
The Nigerian international did not last long after twisting his ankle early in the match.
He tried to solider on but was replaced by Ibrahima Koné in the 25th minute, looking dejected as Lorient fans chanted his name.
Reims enjoyed a good spell after Moffi’s injury and had a good chance through Marshall Munetsi, whose effort from inside the box in the 26th ended wide. The hosts came close to opening the scoring soon after at the conclusion of a fine move of one-touch football, with Ouattara forcing a save by goalkeeper Yehvann Diouf.
PSG and Lorient are levels on points. PSG hosts third-placed Marseille on Sunday, with only three points separating those bitter rivals.
